Easy coloring pages for toddlers

"Easy" for a two-year-old means something different from "easy" for a seven-year-old. These pages keep it truly simple: one friendly picture, thick lines, and lots of room to scribble.

Why simple pages work better

Little ones lose interest when a page has dozens of tiny spaces. A single big animal with a smiling face gives them an obvious place to start and a finished-looking result, which builds confidence for the next page.

Simple shapes also make it easy to practice colors: "let's make the elephant gray" or "what color is your apple?"

Making coloring time go smoothly

Tape the page to the table so it doesn't slide, offer two or three crayons rather than the whole box, and stop while it's still fun. Ten minutes is a great session at this age.

Questions parents ask

Are these pages good for preschoolers too?

Yes. Preschoolers often enjoy adding their own backgrounds — grass, sun, sky — around a simple animal.

Can I print the pages more than once?

Yes, as often as your household needs. The license covers personal, household use.

Each download is licensed for personal, household use: print as many copies as your family needs. Please don't resell, share or redistribute the files.
